This digital art began as a photo of some shadows in my back yard. It reminded me of Monet and his shadows particularly his haystack painting shadows. His shadows were of different colors such as blue, green, red, depending on the time of day and his mood. I digitally manipulated this photograph to simulate a Monet painting with reddish shadows.
George Harth lives in Medina, OH, and spends the winters painting in Bonita Springs, FL. He began painting watercolors during high school in Leavenworth, Kansas. George started developing his love of art, at the age of thirteen, while taking private drawing lessons. He grew into watercolor painting and experienced early success. At the age of fifteen, George placed first in the Leavenworth Annual Art Exhibit of 1960. George has been called a Renaissance Man by many of his acquaintances because of his many interests and talents which include writing, photography, painting, and an occasional invention.
