River birch trees have an interesting fall leaf pattern in which the very upper leaves are the last to fall. Sometimes, the impression that the golden leaf pattern makes is that the leaves form a golden arching waterfall such as is shown in this photo art.
George Harth lives in Medina, OH, and spends the winters painting in Bonita Springs, FL. He began painting watercolors during high school in Leavenworth, Kansas. George started developing his love of art, at the age of thirteen, while taking private drawing lessons. He grew into watercolor painting and experienced early success. At the age of fifteen, George placed first in the Leavenworth Annual Art Exhibit of 1960.
