This winter at Navarre Beach, Florida I stopped my walk on the beach to watch a windsurfer trying to get a start in the roaring surf and howling wind. It turned out that he never did manage to get his sail up; the weather won that battle. However, I did manage to get a interesting photo of the scene at the windsurfer stared at the surf for that perfect moment that never came.
George Harth lives in Medina, OH, and spends the winters painting in Bonita Springs, FL. He began painting watercolors during high school in Leavenworth, Kansas. George started developing his love of art, at the age of thirteen, while taking private drawing lessons. He grew into watercolor painting and experienced early success. At the age of fifteen, George placed first in the Leavenworth Annual Art Exhibit of 1960.
