I have a glass top picnic table on my deck that collects rain drops when we have a light sprinkle. In the evening if you look at the table top at the right angle you can see the reflection of a nearby tree and the rain drops take on an gem like quality. I took this photograph on one such occasion. It makes you stop an think about what you are seeing.
George Harth lives in Medina, OH, and spends the winters painting in Bonita Springs, FL. He began painting watercolors during high school in Leavenworth, Kansas. George started developing his love of art, at the age of thirteen, while taking private drawing lessons. He grew into watercolor painting and experienced early success. At the age of fifteen, George placed first in the Leavenworth Annual Art Exhibit of 1960.
