Antelope Canyon at Lake Powell in Arizona presents the photographer with an opportunity to capture some pure abstract art based on actual rock formations and natural lighting. The light filtering down from above this slot canyon highlights the erosion patterns on the red sandstone rock walls of the canyon. This image appears to float in space even though it is an eroded rock canyon wall.

George Harth lives in Medina, OH, and spends the winters painting in Bonita Springs, FL. He began painting watercolors during high school in Leavenworth, Kansas. George started developing his love of art, at the age of thirteen, while taking private drawing lessons. He grew into watercolor painting and experienced early success. At the age of fifteen, George placed first in the Leavenworth Annual Art Exhibit of 1960. George has been called a Renaissance Man by many of his acquaintances because of his many interests and talents which include writing, photography, painting, and an occasional invention.
